Ludo captures stories beyond words, where colors, lines, and emotions become his true language
Starting with acting and directing, he searched for ways to tell his story. But it was through drawing that he found his voice. Humans became his obsession, capturing their essence beyond what words could express.
Ludo started painting just a year ago. As a former film director, he was used to sketching scenes, but painting gave him complete creative freedom. Instead of following a script, he began expressing his thoughts and emotions on canvas. Now, he continues to explore new ideas, capturing the world in his own raw and personal way.
With his No Mouth Project, he explored 10 societal issues, covering every mouth to remind us that only the eyes reveal the truth.
In Korean Guy in New York, Ludo blends his signature style from the Order and Disorder series with the energy of New York’s urban chaos. His free, colorful strokes collide with neat lines, just like the contrast of freedom and structure in the city itself.
