Bokyung Huh is an artist based in Seoul who captures the beauty of life’s quiet moments. After studying animation and VFX at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and graduating in 2022, she began her career as a background painter for animation. She’s currently working on an exciting Netflix project at a Seoul-based studio, but her creativity doesn’t stop there.
Her work primarily uses digital tools. Through digital assistance, she loves to capture those precious and cherishable moments in mundane life that often go unnoticed. She mostly focuses on scenes of daily life from the city and nature, to the intimate and tranquil. Her paintings highlight the mundane moments of our daily lives which are deeply woven into the fabric of our lives.
In her free time, Bokyung brings mundane moments to life, blending digital and traditional techniques to create artwork that feels both intimate and tranquil. Her paintings highlight the unnoticed—those small, everyday moments in the city, nature, and beyond that quietly enrich our lives.
